During the Winter there is no automobile access to cabins in Bear Valley! Roads to the cabins are not plowed in the winter. For your convenience, over-the-snow transportation is provided as part of your rental by Bear Valley Vacation rentals for one designated arrival time and one departure time. All members of your party must arrive and depart at the same time (unless they want to walk.) Additional over-the snow transportation can sometimes be pre-arranged for a fee through Bear Valley Vacation Rentals. Snowmobiles can be rented through Bear Valley Snowmobile: http://www.bvsnowmobile.com 209-753-2323. For longer stays we recommend renting a snowmobile. Transportation times are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.

Transportation times are strictly upheld. We need a minimum of 24 hours notice to schedule transportation.

If you are late for a your scheduled time by more than one hour without notifying us of your delay, you will forfeit your snowmobile transportation. No refund of any portion of your rent will be given for this forfeit.

If you forfeit your transportation, you will have to walk to your cabin over the snow, with all your belongings, or you may arrange for alternate overnight accommodations (if available) at your expense, and be transported to your rental house the next day, only as staff scheduling permits.
